I am a breast cancer survivor and DVT Survivor. Through the trials and tribulations of my life, I have come out stronger and happier with the love of my family carrying me on. Becoming a storyteller at my old school has been one of the best decisions of my life.
BEYOND THE SMILES, ARE THE BATTLE SCARS OF LIFE. WE WILL COME OUT STRONGER!
Be like the Phoenix
I can honestly say that I led a healthy lifestyle, both physically and diet wise. Will not say much about the mental state at this point in time. I never went for breast cancer screening. I mean why would I? I did not fit that list of factors that could lead to cancer. Yet I did get breast cancer and I found out, not be going in for a checkup. I found out when the lumps broke through and my t-shirt looked out of shape. I will say this though, I am grateful that God gave me a chance, a chance to survive physically and a chance to survive mentally.
I guess it took cancer and DVT to see myself from within and to better my mental self and in turn improving my life, in more ways than one.
July 23rd my darling mom left this earth to continue on to her next journey as we will all do one day.I will try to live the rest of my life in a
way that will grant me access to the highest reward in Jannah so that I will be able to see mom again.
Love this earthly life but love the hereafter more!
